Continuing my Thanksgiving theme…you cannot go wrong with Champagne. Ever. EVER!
As for Turkey-Day, serve it before the dinner, to get people chatting. Serve it with the turkey, pair wonderfully. The acidity cuts gravy like nobodies business. Champagne and cranberry sauce you ask? Of course! Serve it with dessert. Last but not least, serve it to toast the celebrations. Endless uses.
The Montaudon Champagne Brut NV has been a “house favorite” at the Saratoga Wine Exchange for as long as I can remember. It is wonderfully aromatic, with attractive flavors of candied citrus, rose and vanilla. It has a lacy texture and gentle, seductive appeal, lingering leisurely on the finish. The House of MONTAUDON is located right at the heart of REIMS, a few steps away from the Cathedral. The fermentation room, storerooms and two levels of cellars (where bottles for several years supply are stored) are sited in this well integrated centre.
